the tigers’ leading receiver today, grabbing three catches for 33 yards.

not only recorded three receptions, but managed to work in his signature reverse for a 12-yard first half scamper.

failed to record a reception, but made pivotal downfield blocks on two key plays: cam newton’s 49-yard touchdown run and onterio mccalebb’s 70-yard touchdown run.

the left side was open all day, allowing cam newton (and onterio mccalebb) space to produce.

scored some space on a few of cam newton’s makeshift runs. along with lee ziemba, becoming the most reliable section of the auburn offensive line.

much like the arkansas game, a few sloppy plays in this one blemished an otherwise professional outing.

his best showing since the mississippi state game; the star tackle recorded six tackles, including three sacks for a total loss of 20 yards and two unaccounted-for bone-rattling hits on jarrett lee.
mike blanc, dt - 6.0
did register an offsides penalty, but notched two tackles and a bevy of onslaughts on both quarterbacks.

only one tackle and one quarterback hurry in a quiet game for the redshirt freshman.
craig stevens, lb - 6.5
much improved on tackling, earning seven tackles with one tackle-for-loss.
josh bynes, lb - 7.0
led auburn, statistically, with 11 tackles and a quarterback hurry; was out-leaped on the rueben randle touchdown.

prior to a shoulder injury knocking him out during the first half, “devin bates” — as verne lundquist referred to him — had five tackles and a spectacular whiff of an attempted tackle on jordan jefferson’s touchdown run.
